New Leadership Lancaster Graduate Announced
Simon Lever LLP, Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisors announced today that Jonathan Fry, Principal, Accounting and Auditing Services Department, is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Lancaster.
The mission of Leadership Lancaster is to develop outstanding community leadership to support the needs of Lancaster County. The Core Program is designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Lancaster County and to enhance their leadership skills to better serve the volunteer community. During these sessions, class members study the county’s health and human services delivery strategies, education and legal systems. They examine the county’s economic structure, the workings of government and the role of the arts. Participants sharpen leadership skills and learn about the major issues in Lancaster County.
“We are pleased that Jon participated in this important program over the last year; the insight he brings back to the firm as a result of his participation will enhance our ability to serve the Lancaster community,” said Ted Witman, COO. “Jon is proud to be a native of Lancaster County, and even so, learned many new facts and issues related to our County that will help bring value to our Lancaster County clients. This was a valuable program from both Jon’s and the firm’s perspective.”
Fry graduated from Warwick High School and Grove City College with a B.S. in Accounting. He worked for PwC in Pittsburgh before returning to Lancaster to join Simon Lever. He is a member of the firm’s Quality Control Committee and Business Development Committee. Fry is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and currently serves as a member of the PICPA Accounting & Auditing Procedures Committee.
